Abstracts For Artist Talks, Demonstration And Works In Progress

Since ISEA is a unique occasion for the interactions between the art and academic communities, we are interested in artist submissions to present their work as short talks, demonstrations and descriptions of works in progress.

Deadline for submission: March 20th 2015

Notification of acceptance: April 20th 2015

Submission format:

Artist submissions require a 500 word (max) abstract with a link to a video. If submissions will include a demonstration, please include a demonstration form: Demonstration Form

ISEA2015 submissions in the Abstracts for Artist Short Talks, Demonstration and Works in Progress category will not entail publication in our proceedings, but will allow the artist to make a 10min (inclusive of questions) presentation or a Poster/Demonstration presentation.

Presentation format:

Each artist submission will be presented orally for 10 minutes, inclusive  of questions.

 

Sue Gollifer is currently the Director of the ISEA International Headquarters. She is an artist, a Principal Lecturer in Fine Art and the Course Leader for Digital Media Arts MA and a researcher and curator at the University of Brighton, UK. She is on a number of National and International Committees, including (CAS) the Computer Arts Society, (DAM), Digital Art Museum, and (DAC) the ACM SIGGRAPH Digital Arts Community. She is currently the ACM Chair of ‘The Distinguished Artist Award for Lifetime Achievement in Digital Art’.
