ISEA, the Inter-Society for the Electronic Arts
Moves to a New Home
September 27, 2002 - ISEA, the Inter-Society for the Electronic Arts is pleased to announce that following several months of restructuring and reorganization, it has moved its web site to a new domain:
The old domain
Alongside the move to a new domain, users will find the site more accessible in several languages, including English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese. The current site was designed by students in the International Certificate Program for New Media, co-sponsored by the Rhode Island School of Design's Department of Continuing Education and the Fraunhofer Center for Research in Computer Graphics.
The ISEA web site is also getting a facelift. Led by Andres Burbano from Bogota, Colombia, the ISEA web committee is currently exploring a new look for the site, along with the integration of more dynamic content. A new member portfolio section, created by Kelly Driscoll and Jeff Yan of Digication in Providence, Rhode Island, USA, will also be introduced. The portfolio section will allow members to upload their own work and view the work of other ISEA members.
ISEA is now looking for volunteers to work on other sections of the web site - to help with links, archiving ISEA newsletters, and translation, including expanding into other languages. All interested individuals are asked to contact ISEA HQ directly.
Founded in the Netherlands in 1990, ISEA is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and development of the electronic arts.
