In 2006 the Inter-Society for the Electronic Arts was discontinued as a membership organization and was replaced with the ISEA International Foundation. In 2009 a new operational base ISEA Headquarters will be established at the University of Brighton.

The Inter-Society for the Electronic Arts (ISEA) is extremely pleased to announce that the
Fourteenth International Symposium on Electronic Art (ISEA2008) will be held in Singapore. Following the
careful evaluation of three exceptionally strong bids received through an open call for proposals, the ISEA
Board decided to accept the proposal submitted by the the Organizing Committee from Singapore.
The ISEA Board found the bid from Singapore especially rich in possibilities for dialogue and exchange
both within the region and on an international level. A public presentation by Gunalan Nadarajan, artistic
director for ISEA2008 is scheduled at ARS Electronica on Monday, September 4, 2006 at 13:30, Seminar Room,
