Founded in the Netherlands in 1990, the Inter-Society for the Electronic Arts (ISEA) is an international nonprofit organization fostering interdisciplinary academic discourse and exchange among culturally diverse organizations and individuals working with art, science and emerging technologies.
ISEA publishes a newsletter; hosts an online archive and exchange environment and oversees the International Symposium on Electronic Art, a regular gathering of the international art, science and technology community.

ISEA2006 SYMPOSIUM PAPERS ONLINE FORUM

ISEA2006 is pleased to announce that the selection of presentations for
Symposium papers, artist presentations, panels and posters has been
finalized as well as the artworks selected in conjunction with the inaugural
ZeroOne San Jose Global Festival of Art on the Edge.
Over 1700 submissions in all categories were received, including 354
proposals for Symposium papers, panels, artist presentations and poster
sessions. Approximately 300 artists, curators, researchers, cultural and
media theorists were represented on review committees with the Symposium IPC
involving 75 distinguished professionals. Submissions were of the highest
quality from which the following proposals were selected.

EDGY PRODUCTS CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
This is an invitation by the ISEA2006 Symposium and ZeroOne San Jose:
A Global Festival of Art on the Edge to groups and individuals to
submit proposals for exhibition of interactive art work and projects
reflecting on the thematic of Edgy Products. This is the first and
only call for artworks in this category.
