About the ISEA Symposium Archives

ISEA Symposia Archives

This site is in the process of being populated with the information from the old archive site which is no longer operational.  Please check back frequently to see the progress.  If you are looking for something in particular, contact: archives [at] isea-web.org.

This website is an archive of the printed and digital materials from the series of symposia known as the International Symposium on Electronic Art. Initiated in 1988, the symposia were developed to create and maintain an International network of organizations and individuals active in the field of the electronic arts. The symposia have been held as both biennial and annual events. As of 2008, the symposia were held annually.  ISEA International maintains both a hardcopy and an online archive of the audio/visual and printed material from the symposium. The original ISEA archive site was initiated in 2008 and funded by the Mondriaan Foundation and VSB Funds.  This new archive website is the result of a transition from the original site to a technology that enables easy access and maintainability. We hope that you find the material useful and if you have anything to add or suggestions, please don’t hesitate in contacting us.
